telc vs Goethe
At telc you cannot retake a single skill
Goethe has four modules, and you can repeat just the one you failed. telc is different: one written block worth 225 points and one oral exam worth 75, and you need 60 % in each block separately. If the written block goes wrong, the whole written block is repeated.
That is exactly why a full mock under time matters — and why these tests give you the block in one sitting, not four separate exercises.

At A1 and A2 the paper is smaller: Hören, Lesen, Schreiben and Sprechen with 15 points each, 60 in total, and you pass at 36.
Questions about the telc tests
Tests 1–3 at each of A1, A2, B1 and B2 — twelve full tests. You fill in a short form once and they all open. Tests 4–10 at every level come with Fastrack.
No. Both certify the same levels and are widely accepted, but the papers are different. telc is one written block — Lesen, Sprachbausteine, Hören and Schreiben together — plus a separate oral exam, and you must reach 60 % in each block. Goethe has four modules you can retake one at a time; telc does not, so a full mock matters more.
The grammar and vocabulary part of telc at B1 and B2: two gap-fill sections inside the written block, worth 30 points. A1 and A2 don't have it. Our B1 and B2 tests include both parts, marked instantly with an explanation for each gap.
Yes. Every test has one recording with the instructions, the pauses and the repeats built in, just like the exam — around 13 minutes at A1 and A2, 20 to 26 minutes at B1 and B2.
No. They are original tests written and recorded by Globio in the telc format, so you practise the real task types and timing. They are not from the telc gGmbH and are not endorsed by it.
There are seven telc centres — two in Mumbai, two in Noida, and one each in Bangalore, Coimbatore and Kochi. Outside German-speaking countries every telc exam is taken on a computer, so practising on screen matches the real thing.
